2013 Annual Conference

SEACAA 2013 ANNUAL CONFERENCE                       September 10 – 13, 2013

Hyatt Regency Savannah

Savannah, Georgia

2013 SEACAA Conference Theme

The promise of Community Action has been in effect for almost five decades – making good on a commitment that “changes people’s lives, embodies the spirit of hope, improves communities, and makes America a better place to live.”

As pioneering agents of change, Community Action Agencies (CAAs) must demonstrate accountability and a core set of standards for excellence to fulfill the expectations set forth in that Promise. As a result of efforts to frame Organizational Performance Standards, ROMA Next Generation, and CSBG Performance, once again, CAAs are in the national spotlight. To ensure our continued success, the Southeastern Association of Community Action Agencies (SEACAA) 2013 Annual Conference will fill the knowledge gap and “pave the way” for community action agencies and nonprofits through increased knowledge, reliable and effective best practices, and technical solutions to increase organizational management and leadership capacity that improve client outcomes and support greater community impact. The Hyatt Regency Savannah—in the historic, vibrant city of Savannah, GA—will be the host site for this eight-state regional network, September 9-13. Don’t miss it!

The SEACAA Conference is a one-stop destination for:

  • Impactful capacity-building training
  • Best practices for immediate implementation
  • Real life models and industry examples from nationally recognized trainers
  • Opportunities to network and connect with colleagues in the field
